Introduction:

Chitral is on the isolated and remotes part of Pakistan, with poor financial and human resources. Most of the part has been deprived of quality Science and technology education in the high secondary level. Government has neglected Chitral in all filedsof life in generaland educationin particular. In many of the villages there is lack of educational institutions and people open private institution to educate their children. UnfortunatelyChitral being one of the largest district of NWFP, with poor human resources, Government hasn’t gave full attention to the area in all fields especially in the filed of education.

In addition, due to lack of proper educational institutions particularly in upper Chitral both for male and female, segment of young generation is in high risk of deprivedof higher education and thus resulting poor standard of life.In this era of competition of science andtechnology quality professionalof different disciplines are playing key role to facilitate the young generation to prepare them for the battle of life that lies ahead.

In view of the afore mentioned issues and to address these issues, some tallented youth of Chitral render their services for the betterment of their future assets as students. The management of Global Institute of LearningBrep at Brep is among those future thinker who offer their valuable services to promote education in thevery remote area of Chitral Pakistan. Thus the establishment of this institution aims to promote the youth of Yarkhun in the field of education to make them able to stand with the modern world by providing uality education.

The institution is described as under:

¨The institute shall be called Global Institute of LearningBrep

(School &College)Chitral.

¨The level of institute is prep 9^th to graduation but recently starteed classes upto intermediate level.

¨It is registered with BISE Peshawar and its registration no. is 192.

¨The Head office of GIL shall be at Brep and therefore its permanent Address

shall be as “ Village & P.O Brep, Tehsil Mastuj, District Chitral Khyber Pakhtoon

Khwa, Pakistan.”

¨GIL is representing the whole District Chitral and its branches will be spread to

all the potential having areas of District Chitral with passages of time, if needed

and desired. The institute can also extend his activities to other areas of the

country.

¨The overall goal of the instituteis to contribute to the science and Artsdevelopment ofChitral through offering quality science and Arts education and also professional education in recent future.

¨The management will comprise of Board of Directors, and Board of Governors. The Board of Directors shall be consisting of all the partners of the institution, while the

Board of Governors will be consisted of the science and arts people and also reputable people of the area.

The institute has started working from March 23,2010 and prep 9^th and 1^st year classes are taken on regular basis. The number of students in prp 9^th is 7 and in 1^st year is 29 including science and arts. The principal of the institute is Mr. Zafar Ahmad and Director is Mr.Ghafar Ali Khan and S.Shahzada Akbar as a partner.
