Conservation of markhor in Toshi game reserve demanded
CHITRAL: The residents of Seen village have demanded of the government to ensure the protection of kashmir markhor against the poachers in the Toshi game reserve near Chitral city. Talking to the local media in Chitral Press Club here on Monday, a conservation activist of the village Miraj Hussain Mughal has alleged that the breeding season of the animal is in progress but the poaching is also at its full swing. Kalash valleys roads block for third day against commercial cutting of Forest
CHITRAL: The road blockade to the Kalash valleys of Bumburate and Rumbur continued for the third day by the residents of two villages Thoriandeh and Mulden of Ayun here on Monday. The residents of the two villages are protesting against the commercial-scale harvesting of Chimesar forest adjacent to the Kalash valley Rumbur which they had lost to the residents of the valley in a legal battle regarding its ownership.
